Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola’s reign at the Bavarian side may not end on a high as he might have expected, with the reports that information from his dressing room leaks out to the media.
This comes after the club was for the third straight season dumped out of the Champions League at the semi final stage by Atletico Madrid.
Guardiola is reported to have had a spat with the team’s physios after the match and the same question popped up in his media sessions but he did not make an effort to deny it, only stating that whoever peddled the info to the media is hurting the club.
The Spaniard will be leaving the club at the end of the season, which is much more the reason he is not moved by the reports.
“Usually what happens inside the dressing room remains inside the dressing room. Whoever has spoken has done it to hit me, but I’m not here next season anyway so it’s not my problem, but Bayern’s. It’s happened plenty of times over these past three years.
“It’s normal for me to talk to my players and staff and give them my opinion, but there are people here who are talking because they want to hurt me. Maybe this person will still be here next season and clearly they haven’t realised that they are not damaging me, but the club and the team. I won’t be here, so it’s the club’s problem, he told German media.
