Victory and scoring goals are the two targets gangling striker Victor Osimhen have set for himself in this month’s high-profile international friendly against the Brazil U-23.
At the FIFA U-17 tournament, Osimhen netted against the Brazil cadet team and after arriving at the camp in Abuja, the Wolfsburg of Germany starlet said he is hoping to wreck the Brazilians once given the opportunity to star in the friendly.
“You know I was part of the Golden Eaglets team that defeated the Brazilians at the last U-17 World Cup in Chile and so it will be a pleasure for me to play them at their backyard and hopefully find the back of the net, as I did against them in Chile.” Osimhen declared
With his arrival, Osimhen became the first foreign -based player to arrive camp in preparation for the game.
The U-23 are expected to depart the shores of the country on Sunday, March 20, aboard a South African Airways flight
They will face Brazil U23 in an international friendly to intensify preparation for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio on March 24.
The game will be played 7pm at the stadium of Kleber Andrade in the city of Cariacica, Vitoria, Espirito Santo.
