Super Eagles duo Efe Ambrose and Juwon Oshaniwa were on parade for Celtic and Heart of Midlothian respectively as both sides played out a 2-2 draw in a Scottish Premier League fixture at the Tynecastle Stadium.
While Oshaniwa started and played the entire duration of the encounter –his 14 start in 14th league appearances this term, Ambrose who has managed to just eight starts off Celtic’s 19 league games this term came off the bench to replace Boyata three minutes after the half hour mark.
Ambrose and his team-mates were strong-willed and led twice through Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic and those goals were not enough to quell Hearts, who played with relentless commitment before a packed Tynecastle.
Sam Nicholson equalised at the end of the first half and Osman Sow did the same in the 90th minute with a stunning, slightly deflected strike.
The result means Celtic moved one point clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership wgile Hearts sit third on the log, ten points behind their visitors on Sunday.
