Chelsea and Brazilian midfielder Oscar has denied media reports linking him with a training-ground bust-up with team-mate Diego Costa on Thursday.
Reports emerged from the club’s Cobham base that the two players had to be pulled apart following a “robust” challenge by the Brazilian midfielder, although the pair stopped short of coming to blows.
Oscar who has been an integral part of the Chelsea set-up since the arrival of Gus Hiddink however took to Twitter to reiterate his friendship with Costa, insisting he’d “never fight” one of his team-mates and that the Spain international was “one of his best friends”.
The English-langauge tweet has now been deleted. A denial in Portuguese is still live on his account.
Pra quem está falando que eu e o @diegocosta brigamos hoje no treino está mentindo,Ele é um dos meus melhores amigos e jamais iríamos brigar

Chelsea refused to comment on the incident yesterday but it is believed that Guus Hiddink will comment on the matter during a press conference on Friday.
The alleged incident has caused the team spirit at Stamford Bridge to be scrutinised further, following this season’s fractious defence of their Premier League crown.
Chelsea face League One club Scunthorpe at home in the FA Cup third round this weekend.
