Kenyan international Noah Abich has signed a one year contract extension at Mathare United after his deal with the 2008 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions ran out at the end of the 2015 season.
The new deal will see the defender complete a third year at the team he joined after leaving Kakamega Homeboyz and speaking after confirming the development he said he has never thought of playing for another team.
He was the best scoring defender in the KPL in 2015 with seven goals and the defender admits he wants to replicate and even better the prospects in the 2016 season.
“I have signed a new deal for one year at the team and I am happy at the development and the trust the club management had in me. I have enjoyed my time at the team and never imagined leaving the team.
“I want to do better than I did last season and to help the team win silverware,” he said.
