Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo announced on his personal twitter handle that he has renewed his contract with premier league giants Chelsea.
Details of the contract were not made known but the player was immediately farmed out on his fourth consecutive loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old who joined the Blues in 2012 has gone on loan at ADO Den Haag (Netherlands) Middlesbrough (English Championship), and Kasımpaşa (Turkey).
“Happy to renew my contract at chelsea #cfc #agent #omeruo #london #cobham @ London, United Kingdom,” he wrote on his official twitter account.
In May 2014 Nigeria World Cup-bound Omeruo agreed a new three-year contract with Chelsea. A deal which affirms the Blues trust in his potentials.
But he has failed to make a single appearance for the former UEFA Champions League winners and new manager Antonio Conte did not even give him a look-in despite craving for a new center back with Zouma, John Terry, Gary Cahill, and Branislva Ivanovic already at the club.
Chelsea have two other Super Eagles stars in their fold; Victor Moses and Mikel Obi while Solanke and Aina who are eligible to play for England have Nigerian roots and can decide to represent the three-time African Champions like Moses and Alex Iwobi.
