Kenyan international Michael Olunga will have another chance to impress on trials with Swedish side Djugardens IF when the team takes on Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest on Thursday 4th February.
Olunga is on his second week of trials with the team and accompanied them to Turkey for preseason training and with the team on the second day of Turkey camp, the striker says all is well and is hoping to have an impact.
Speaking to the club’s website, the striker said it has been great at the team so far and having been named in the starting line up, he noted that the he wants to get to scoring ways already.
“We’ve been in Turkey for two days and all is well. We are prepared for the game and I know it’s going to be a tough match. We will give in our best and hopefully win.
“It’s been really a great time for me and it’s an honour to be with such an organised side. I’ve found it a little bit hard to adapt but I have really tried my best to be sharp in every training session and the coach has been very supportive; he’s been encouraging me to learn new ways to play as a striker and to fit in the team,”
“I’m looking forward to doing my best tonight. I want to prove that I’m a good player and score goals because that is what I came here to do,” he told the club’s official website.
