Kenyan internatioinal Michael Olunga scored the opening goal as his Swedish side IF Djurgardens played to a 2 – 2 draw with IF Elsfborg in a friendly match at the Boras Arena on Friday 11 March.
Olunga scored the first goal of the match on the 15th minute but parity was restored just a minute later courtesy of a Simon Hedlund strike before Djurgardens restored their lead on the 43rd minute through Jesper Kalstroem.
The hosts ensured shared spoils with the equalizing goal on the 75th minute after Viktor Prodell slotted home.
The former Gor Mahia man was withdrawn in the second half for Liberian Sam Johnson.
The goal was Michael Olunga’s third for the team after his move in February.
The team kicks off the Swedish league, known as Allsveskan with an away match against Orebro SK on Sunday 3 April 2016.
