Kenyan international Michael Olunga has moved to calm reports that he has completed a big money move to Sweden after a stellar season in 2015 with the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia.
Olunga is reported to be top on Swedish top flight side Djurgårdens IF’s wish list and the club had earlier issued a confirmation of the same while stating that a visa to facilitate his travel to Europe is being processed.
The striker has moved to state the club has indeed contacted him but nothing has been signed as yet only that he is scheduled to have further talks and added that he has not signed a deal yet.
“It is true that talks have been going on but I haven’t signed any contract with any club as it is being circulated across media outlets,”
“I have been on holiday for long and it takes not less than fifteen days to process a visa. We have been working on receiving one and will probably leave the country once everything is sorted,” he said.
