Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh will not be on the bench when his team take on the Etalons of Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou for Sunday’s 2016 second leg clash as he was flown to Belgium for treatment after his health condition worsened on Thursday, a source in the team’s hotel confided in 366football.com.
The former Nigeria captain defiled medical orders to mastermind a 2-0 win in the first leg will be attended to by his physician on arrival in Brussels.
Oliseh reportedly broke down and asked to be taken abroad for treatment on Thursday.
“With his condition detoririating he had to be flown back to his home in Belgium where he will be attended to by his personal physician. I have never seen him in this state before. It is very bad,” the source revealed.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation have been briefed about the development, and have okayed his being flown to Belgium for treatment.
