The Kenya national team Harambee Stars head coach Stanley Okumbi has picked a 29 – man provisional squad to start preparations for the coming friendly matches and AFCON 2017 qualifier later in the month and in early June.
Muhoroni Youth striker Wycliffe Ochomo has been handed his maiden call up to the team after a fine run in the season so far while Spain based Ismail Gonzalez who is currently attached to the Las Palmas UD Academy has also been called up.
Aboud Omar, David Okello, Humphrey Mieno and Ali Abondo will be making returns to the team after initially being overlooked.
The usual foreign based players, including skipper Victor Wanyama, Brian Mandela David Owino and Ayub Timbe have been called up with the notable absentee being goalkeeper Arnold Origi.
