Muhoroni Youth returned to winning ways after beating Thika United 1 – 0 in the Saturday 13 August Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash at the Muhoroni Stadium, much to head coach John Bobby Ogolla’s satisfaction.
Congolese import Bebeto Lwamba struck the lone goal to end a run of three winless matches. Easing the pressure on the sugar belt side.
Bobby admitted his side’s woes were down to poor returns in front of goal and he feels that will be well addressed when they take to the pitch to play Western Stima in their next game.
“It was an important win for us; very crucial to our ambitions in the season and also because it eases pressure after failing to win for some time.
“We have not been very sharp in front of goal in the past few matches but we are all about rectifying our mistakes as games come and I believe we will be much better off when we take on our next opponent.
The team will have top striker Wycliffe Ochomo back in the next match after completing a three – match ban. The striker has scored 12 goals so far in the season.
