Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi will rejoined AC Milan after the final burial of his father 366football.com can report.
The Nigerian international who cancelled an agreement with Turkish second division side Sanliurfaspor in the summer but could not feature for the club as his International Transfer clearance arrived late passed his medicals on Tuesday before the death of his father.
He was joined in Wednesday’s training by Kevin Prince Boateng at Milanello.
But his return to Milan has been cut short after he was granted compassionate leave following the death of his father, Sir Vincent Oduamadi.
Oduamadi told Completesports that he hopes to impress coach Sinisa Mihajlovic that he is good enough to play for Rossoneri having successfully passed his medicals on Tuesday.
“It’s bitter sweet for me rejoining Milan and also to hear about the demise of my father,” he said.
“I’ve been granted some days off for the burial of my father and I’m grateful to my club for standing by me.”
