Gor Mahia head coach Frank Nuttal led the team to complete a double over Tusker FC in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash staged at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
Michael Olunga scored the only goal in the game to see Gor Mahia replicate their result over Tusker in the first leg and with another meet up in the Top 8 Cup in the horizon, the coach knows it will be tough.
Speaking of the Tusker game, the Scot lauded his team for growing well in the match after a slow start
“I am happy with the results though we started the game in a slow tempo. I had to speak to the team at half time and I’m happy they delivered when it mattered,”
”We meet Tusker again in the Top 8 tournament and it will be a tough one. We will have to give our best if we are to make it to the final,” he said.
The two teams played to a 2 – 2 draw in the first leg of the Top 8 semi finals with Tusker then playing as the home team.
