Ghana international, Andre Ayew is likely to remain at Swansea at least until the end of the season after Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce revealed that the Black Cats are not interested in his services.
Reports claimed earlier this week that the former Marseille player is on his way to Sunderland in a deal that will see Fabio Borini move to the Wales.
However, Allardyce told reporters today that it’s rumour created by the media.”There’s been no contact between us and Swansea. We haven’t made an offer to Swansea,” he said.
“I’m not certain Swansea would want to sell him, so I think that’s a little bit of speculation on media behalf. I can’t say any more than that because he’s a Swansea player.”
Ayew joined the Swansea City last summer and became an instant hit, winning the Barclays Player of the Month Award in August.
