Mino Raiola, agent of Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that there is no bid from Manchester United for his client.
The former Barcelona forward made known his exit from Paris Saint Germain after four successful season and reports in France suggest that he may be on his way to Old Trafford for a fee of £300,000-per-week but his agent told Sky Sports News that it is mere speculation.
“In this world we have to accept some journalists use their imagination and make things up,” Raiola said. “The story is not factual.”
Ibrahimovic confirmed on Friday that he would be leaving the Parc des Princes, and celebrated PSG’s Ligue 1 trophy after his final game there a day later.
“I know what I will do next year but I wouldn’t tell you,” he said after the game.
However, ESPN FC reports that Ibrahimovic is in “delicate” discussions to move to MLS next year but will have to wait until 2017 to join LA Galaxy, as they currently have a full complement of designated players, whose salaries do not count fully against the league’s cap.
Ibrahimovic is in line to play his final game of his career at PSG on Saturday in the Coupe de France final against Marseille before leaving to join the Swedish national team for the Euro 2016.
