Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have been dealt yet another injury blow after Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez were forced off against Norwich City with injuries.
The France international pulled up as he prepared to make a challenge, before taking a slight bump on his leg from team-mate Nacho Monreal.
Koscielny fell to the floor in agony clutching his hip, and despite several minutes of medical treatment was forced to withdraw from the match, with Gabriel brought on in his place.
While Arsenal’s talisman Alexis Sanchez, was forced off with a hamstring injury in the 59th minute in the Gunners Premier League game against Norwich today, and limped down the tunnel. He was replaced by Joel Campbell.
The Gunners have already lost a host of first team players through injury, with Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Daniel Welbeck and Mikel Arteta all absent for the trip to Carrow Road.
Wenger’s side ended the game 1-1 and that see them drop to fourth place with 27 points at the top of the Premier League after 14 games.
