Watford FC striker Odion Ighalo has increased the number of players present at the Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the crucial double-header against Egypt in Kaduna.
Ighalo connected Abuja after arriving in Lagos on Monday morning as reported on Nigeria football portal, fcnaija.com.
“I am in camp now, I just want to take a little rest and get down to business with the rest of the boys ” Ighalo was quoted as saying on Fcnaija.com
Many already tip Ighalo who has netted 14 League goals this season to the lead the Eagles’ attack as they hope to overtake Egypt in Group G of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles are presently two points behind the seven-time African champions who are desperate to return to the competing at the Africa Cup of Nations; having shockingly missed out on the last two consecutive editions.
As at 2.pm on Monday, Super Eagles officials confirmed that Alex Iwobi, Aminu Umar, Mikel Obi, Aaron Samuel, Godefery Oboabona, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ifeanyi Matthew and Ike Ezenwa are all in at the Bolton White Apartment Camp site for the Eagles.
