The Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation will meet today in Uyo to deliberate on Sunday Oliseh and Nigeria’s failure at the CHAN tournament in Rwanda and the forthcoming games against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The Super Eagles failed to progress beyond the group stages of the competition despite leading their group after the first two games.
The ouster opened up a can of worms, with Coach Sunday Oliseh blaming their failure on the NFF’s failure to pay their bonuses and allowances.
The embattled Super Eagles coach is expected to submit his technical report on events in Rwanda, and the committee will deliberate on its content, but reports have suggested the former Nigeria captain has refused to recognize the supervisory role of the committee.
It remains unclear whether the report has been submitted, as none of the members of the committee reached has responded as the time of this report.
The Super Eagles play Egypt over two legs next month in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
