Brazilian star Neymar, who has had a good season with Spanish champions Barcelona is reportedly open to talks with arch rivals Real Madrid with a view to making a move.
Globoesporte reports that the player, who scored 24 goals as Barcelona went on to pip Madrid to win the La Liga title has had a contractual standoff with the Catalans but it is not directly understood whether he is pushing for the move in order to put pressure on Barcelona.
Barcelona are also said to be in a contractual standoff with midfielder Sergio Busquets and will want to rush to secure the influential duo’s future, with Manchester United and Paris St Germain also said to be eyeing the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid continued with their preparations for the UEFA Champions League final against arch rivals Atletico Madrid on Friday with two of the squad members training separately.
Defender Alvaro Arbeloa as well as Colombian forward James Rodriguez were not part of the team’s session as manager Zinedine Zidane took the team through its paces.
