Brazil international Neymar Jr despite not wanting to disclose much about a possible new deal in the near future, however hinted that he wishes to renew his contract with the Catalonia outfit.
Neymar who landed in Barcelona on Monday afternoon in order to return to training after a few relaxing days in Brazil also told journalists who were awaiting his arrival at El Prat airport that his time off gave him a good chance to switch off and do some samba dancing in his homeland.
Barcelona have hinted about extending the Brazil skipper’s deal at Camp Nou but Neymar in an interview with Mundo Deportivo insists he wants to stay at Barcelona but with three years on his current contract, sees no need to hurry into a renewal.
“I’m very happy at Barca and in the city, where I have adapted very well,” he began.
“I have three more years of my contract and I leave these issues with my father. My only concern now is on helping the team and winning trophies.
“It’s clear [I want to renew] but we will speak about it later.” The forward stated.
The forward who according to Marca had microphones thrust in his direction on his walk to the car park, also refused to answer when quizzed about a possible vendetta against Barça.
