New Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa is confident that his Russian club, CSKA Moscow will beat Manchester United in tonight’s UEFA Champions League Group B tie.
The 23-year-old played against Real Madrid last season in the same competition and reveals that he is not fazed going up against Britain’s biggest football brand.
The Nigerian who has been in spectacular form this season said: ‘This is not the first time we are meeting Manchester United and I have a couple of records against them and know we can beat them.
”I pray it pays off for all the hardwork that we have been doing but you know in football you can’t predict, it’s just a matter of 90 minutes.”
Both CSKA Moscow and Manchester United have three points same as PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg. The Red Devils are tipped as massive favourites to go through but Musa and teammate can do themselves a world of good by coming out of the head-to-head battle unscathed.
