Former Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards, Sofapaka and Shaban FC striker Demonde Selenga has completed the switch back to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) after two years in the cold and will from the 2016 season be plying his trade at Muhoroni Youth FC.
The Congolese striker who last played for Sofapaka in the top flight in the 2013 season has been handed a three year deal as confirmed by the club’s Team Manager.
He has been in training with the team since after the completion of the regular season and Team Manager Michael Odongo has backed him to do well, having played for a number of top clubs in the league.
“Selenga has joined and will be on a three year deal starting 2016. It is a good move for both parties and we are looking forward to having him play a crucial role in the team next season given he is vastly experienced having played in the top flight,” he said.
Selenga will be part of a striking force that has two other former Sofapaka men, Lwamba Mulondwa and Abbas Akinyemi.
