Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has condemned media claims accusing Spanish star Cesc Fabregas of insubordination.
Fabregas who has denied any wrong doing was accused of leading a dressing room revolt against manager Mourinho following the Portuguese’s treatment of former club doctor Eva Carneiro.
But the Bles boss in Tuesday’s press conference ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday dismissed the fact that one of his players would prefer to lose than win for him.
“It’s a very sad accusation because you are accusing a player, or more than one player, of dishonesty.
“If I accuse you of being a dishonest journalist I think you would be very upset and probably take legal action. I think it’s a question for the players, not for me.” Mourinho told the Chelsea official website.
Meanwhile, a Chelsea spokesman says while the club would not normally comment on speculation or rumour, they noted with disappointment this one, which had no source.
