Manchester United manager José Mourinho has revealed his love for Manchester United players ahead of their friendly match against Wigan on Saturday.
The Portuguese joined the Red Devils this summer after Dutchman Louis van Gaal was shown the exit door and only needed ten training sessions to fall in love with his new team.
Despite already telling his players that he will only consider 24 players for the new season, the former Chelsea manager has been totally impressed by the work ethic of the team.
“After 10 training sessions, I can say ‘I love to work with these guys,” Mourinho told Manutd.com.
Mourinho recently said about his new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan after he joined from Borussia Dortmund: “Henrikh is a very talented footballer who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country.
“He is a real team player with great skill, vision and also has a good eye for goal. I am delighted he has chosen to sign for United. I believe he will make an impact on the team very quickly as his style of play is suited to the Premier League. We are all looking forward to working with him.”
After the Wigan game on Saturday, Manchester United will depart for China where they are scheduled to play bitter rivals Manchester City and German side Borussia Dortmund in preseason friendlies as they continue to prepare for the 2016/17 season.
