Khethokwakhe Masuku is thrilled to be starting a new chapter in his career and is determined to make the most of his move to Bloemfontein Celtic.
The former Orlando Pirates winger was signed by Phunya Sele Sele just over a week ago, arriving from Royal Eagles, where he had spent last season on loan.
Masuku says that a potential move to Bloemfontein had potentially been on the cards for some time, and believes the setup at the club will enable him to thrive under coach Serame Letsoaka.
“The team has been chasing me since my days at Black Leopards,” he told the club’s website. “I watched Celtic several times and realised coach Serame Letsoaka’s philosophy will suite my style of play perfectly.
“The facilities here are absolutely mind blowing. There is that element of a professional setup that immediately drives one to work hard.
“From the first day I detected some spirit of unionism and clearly we will achieve big as a team – winning trophies and challenging for the league will be our main priority. I am grateful to both the technical team and management for granting me the chance to play top-flight football again.”
