Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has warned that there is zero margin for error when his side face Granada in their final game of the season.
The first big objective for the Argentine and his team-mates who are targeting a double this season is Saturday’s trip to the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes for the must win tie that will guarantee the league title.
Mascherano spoke to ESPN about the challenges that lie ahead for the team between now and the end of the season, claiming a double would be a massive success.
“It will be a tough game with no margin for error. We are obligated to concentrate fully and we want to avoid any mistake.
“They (Granada) have nothing to play for and do not have pressure, which may make them calmer. We have to be very careful.
“We have a great squad, with incredible people. We always have it clear in our minds that we are going out there as a team and we must continue working as a unit.” Mascherano stated.
Barcelona can claim a domestic double this campaign, with the Copa del Rey final against Sevilla taking place next Sunday and the former Liverpool man says “winning the league and cup would be very important”.
