Manchester United has sent the club’s congratulations to new World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, who is a supporter of the coach Louis van Gaal led side.
Fury on Saturday night ended Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko’s 11-year and 22-fight undefeated streak in Dusseldorf to win his WBA Super, WBO and IBF titles with a unanimous decision victory.
Manchester United in a congratulatory message to the 27-year old Fury wrote on its official twitter handle;
“Congratulations to #mufc fan @Tyson_Fury. He’s the new heavyweight champion of the world!” United tweeted.

On paper, Klitschko had a three-inch height disadvantage and a four-inch reach disadvantage and admitted that those factors made things difficult.
The 39-year-old Klitchko never troubled Fury with his powerful right hand but gave the challenger credit for using his physical gifts to his advantage.
Meanwhile Klitschko has insisted that he wants a rematch after losing his world heavyweight championship to Fury. He confirmed after the fight that a rematch clause existed, and he planned on exercising his right to a second bout.
