Chelsea will face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday without talisman Diego Costa while Eden Hazard is struggling to be fit for the tie.
Costa who scored his first brace of the season in the 2-2 draw against Odion Ighalo’s Watford, picked up a yellow card in the match which was his fifth of the campaign thereby ensuring that he miss the trip to Old Trafford.
Hazard on the other hand, came on as a substitute in that encounter after missing the win against Sunderland with a hip injury but it didn’t quite go as planned for the Belgium star.
He won a penalty that was missed by Brazilian midfielder Oscar but it came at a cost as he took a heavy challenge on the knee and was seen limping off the stadium after the match.
The game against Watford marked the return of Guus Hiddink at Chelsea for his second caretaker job following the sack of Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United suffered their third consecutive premier League defeat against Stoke City and will be looking to bounce back against the Blues which makes it a very interesting fixture.
