Algerian star Riyad Mahrez and Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri now firmly believes in the premier league title dream.
The Foxes moved eight points clear at the top with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Swansea City at the King Power Stadium. Mahrez opened scoring with a solo effort while Jose Leonardo Ulloa helped himself with a brace before Marc Marc Albrighton sealed the win.
With just three more games to the end the season the Algerian and his club manager, Ranieri are singing the same tune of a likely title win which will be the first ever for the club.
“I was a little lucky to score, but I’m pleased. Three games to go and we’re all working for each other. We are together,” Mahrez said after the win against Swansea.
On Claudio Raneiri’s part, he said: “We had a dream. Now we must fight to make the dream a reality.
“Leo made a fantastic goal. I told Jeff that I needed his strength, his power. All of my players were fantastic.
“Fantastic performance. Without Jamie, everyone made something more. I love to see my players fighting together.”
Leicester City can have their lead cut to five points on Monday if second placed Tottenham Hotspurs beat West Brom.
