Champions League winners Real Madrid are set to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a bumper new contract worth €60m (£46.6m) after tax and the deal will see him stay at the Bernebeu until 2020.
The 31-year-old has been linked with a big money move away from Spain with French champions Paris Saint German and Manchester United lurking around for his services.
However, the Portugal Captain came out to express his desire to remain at the Bernabeu and continue his remarkable record at the club which has seen him score 50 goals for the sixth consecutive year.
El Confidencial reports that Real Madrid is confident that the player still produce his best form despite being 31years and have decided to offer him a bumper new contract worth €60m (£46.6m) after tax that would keep him at the club until 2020, by which time he will be 35.
Ronaldo, whose current deal expires next summer, has scored 364 goals in 348 games since arriving at Madrid in 2009 and recently helped the club win the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid in Milan for a record 11th time.
