Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos first choice goalkeeper, James Aiyeyemi has sent a warning message to Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi ahead of match day 15 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) tie coming up this weekend.
MFM FC will travel to Makurdi on Thursday for Sunday’s NPFL encounter which will take place at the Aper Aku Stadium.
Both teams are in good shape going into this encounter. The Lagos-based team won their last league game with a 3-0 triumph over Akwa United Football Club of Uyo at the Agege Township Stadium while the homers drew their last league match away to Enyimba international Football Club of Aba but the defunct Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt shot stopper remains optimistic of a decent result.
He said “I so much believe in God because He has always been doing it and I know that by His mercy he’s going to do it again because that ground has been a ground of favour for us and I know God almighty will favour us again there and we will come back with the three points,” he told mountaintopfc.com.
Aiyeyemi helped MFM FC to their first top-level victory in his first league match for the Lagos outfit in match day 1 of the current NPFL season after a 2-1 win over Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia at the Aper Aku Stadium.
The Olukoya Boys maintain the 8th position on the league table with 22 points from 14 NPFL matches while the host occupy the 6th place with same number of points.
