Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino has earned the praise of his Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp following a sublime second goal in the 3-3 draw against Arsenal yesterday.
The 24-year-old former Hoffenheim star who made a £29m switch to Anfield from the Bundesliga at the summer has scored a big goal already this season when he helped Liverpool to an unlikely away win against Manchester City and again showed his class as he beat Petr Cech in goal for Arsenal with a superb curled shot from the edge of the box.
He went on to bagged a brace against the Gunners, which were his first goals for the Reds at Anfield.
“If you are good, you have to show it and tonight [Firmino] did. The second goal was spectacular,” the Liverpool boss told reporters.
The draw at Anfield gives Liverpool 31points and they sit ninth while Arsenal remains top of the premier league log with 43points.
