The Milimani Law Court in Nairobi on Wednesday 28 October postponed the ruling on the case pitting two AFC Leopards’ warring factions as concerns the club’s leadership to Monday 2 November.
One of the factions, led by Mathews Opwora claim to have the mandate to run the club based on their compliance with the Sports Act.
That is however challenged by the interim office, led by Dan Mule. Mule and group acquired an order to stop Opwora’s group from transacting business on behalf of the club.
Situation was tense at the court as both sides, flanked with their lawyers, waited for the ruling only for Resident Magistrate Mr. Muchuli to state the postponement, the reason being an incomplete drafting of the ruling.
“I compiled the ruling but there is an incomplete part which I hope to finish so that I can deliver a comprehensive ruling at the agreed date, Monday 2nd November,” Muchuli said.
