AFC Leopards needed a late goal to pick a point in the Wednesday 3 August Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against Posta Rangers clash staged at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Kepha Aswani got the goal that saw Ingwe rise from a losing position and the team’s head coach Ivan Minnaert admits it was tough against the Mailmen though he is happy with the way they responded and the team’s resolve generally.
He lauded the comeback while pointing out that he’d like to see more of the same but with less mistakes when the team entertains Ushuru FC in their next match.
“We had our mistake in the goal we conceded but we responded well. We showed the hunger to get back in the match and we played well after that. I would like to see the same in the next match but not with the mistakes,” he said.
Unlike AFC Leopards, Ushuru FC head to the game on a low, after losing 0 – 4 to Western Stima in their round 20 KPL game.
