Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri insists that his side is not scared facing Yaya Toure, Kelechi Iheanacho and the rest of the Manchester City squad in the top of the table clash on Monday.
The Foxes lost their first away game of the season on Boxing Day to Liverpool at Anfield courtesy a Christian Benteke goal while on the same day Manchester City demolished relegation threatened Sunderland by 4-1.
However, Ranieri is not panicked by the possibility of playing a potential title rival immediately after losing a game and with star forward Jamie Vardy struggling for fitness as he was substituted against the Reds with a knock.
“City is another fantastic test,” the 64-year-old said to Sky Sports. “You know my idea about this [the title bid] – we are dreaming. We are in good condition and in a good position with 38 points.
“Now we can continue but I want to see my players enjoy it. I don’t know why we were so nervous at the beginning [against Liverpool]. Why?
“Play football, don’t worry. If you lose, lose. That’s it. We have the time.”
