Ahmed Musa’s proposed move to Leicester City will be revived after the European championship in France, fcnaija.com understands.
The English champions have been interested in the Nigeria international and while CSKA Moscow rejected their initial bid last January, it is believed a deal will be reached this summer for the transfer of the speedy winger.
Sources close to the player have informed that discussions between both clubs will pick up again after the European championship.
“We understand the negotiations between CSKA Moscow and Leicester City will resume after the Euros and it looks like it will end well for both clubs,” one source said.
Musa was one of the star performers for CSKA last season as he helped them to the Russian league title but it now looks like that have been his final season in the Russian capital.
Musa joined the Moscow club in 2012 from Dutch club Ado Den Haag, and has gone on to be an influential member of the club.
