General Manager of LA Galaxy Bruce Arena is absolutely delighted with the arrival of former Chelsea left back Ashley Cole to Major League Soccer (MLS).
The 35-year-old joined Roma as a free agent from Chelsea in July 2014, but made only 16 appearances in all competition for the Giallorossi and failed to play a single minute of football this season.
Cole terminated his contract by mutual consent after 18 months in Rome and as expected joined LA Galaxy.
“Ashley is one of the world’s most successful defenders and has played at the highest level of competition throughout his career,” said Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena.
“He can provide our defence with valuable experience. We look forward to his contribution to our club this season.”
Cole made 107 appearances for England before he quit the national team in 2014.
