Paul Pogba is already frustrated at Manchester United former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has claimed.
Kuyt was the captain of the Feyenoord side that defeated United 1-0 in the Europa League on Thursday, and he says the world record-signing couldn’t hide his frustrations with his team following their tepid performance in Rotterdam last week.
Pogba had a decent start to his return to Old Trafford, but has appeared to be out of his depths in the subsequent games – against Manchester City and Feyenoord – prompting renewed questions whether he is actually worth the amount United shelled out for him.
And as the Red Devils went down at the De Kuip Stadium to Kuyt and co., the former Liverpool man has revealed what he noticed of Pogba during the game last Thursday.
“All I heard during the first half against United was Pogba screaming and shouting at his own players,” Kuyt was quoted by the Mirror.
“And when it was half-time, he was shouting at them all even louder.
“He was screaming at them, about the things which were not going right for the team.
“The thing about United is that they only know one way to play.
“We waited for them to attack and stayed very compact as a team because we knew that if you attack them from the beginning then you run into a knife.
“They love to counter-attack. But, if you stop them doing that, then you know that you will always get chances against them.”
United have a chance to return to winning ways when they face Watford today.
