The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) enters the 21st round of matches on the weekend of Saturday 6 – Sunday 7 August but five players will be locked out of action for their teams.
Western Stima defender Dennis Sikhayi will be ineligible for the game against Sony Sugar on Saturday as he is on his fifth yellow card of the season. His suspension comes after picking a booking in the match against Ushuru FC the last time out.
Nairobi City Stars’ defender Franklyne Osama will also be suspended for the 21st round after hitting five bookings for the season in the match against Chemelil Sugar on Wednesday and he will miss the game against Sofapaka on Sunday.
Ulinzi Stars who are going to Rwanda for the Africa Military Games will have the team’s top scorer John Mark Makwatta suspended for the 21st round of matches and will miss the game against Posta Rangers.
Nelson Marasowe of Ushuru FC is also suspended for two matches after receiving his second red card of the season in the Wednesday clash against Western Stima. He is thus set to miss the coming two games against AFC Leopards and Sofapaka.
Muhoroni Youth striker Wycliffe Ochomo will be serving the second of his suspension when the team takes on Chemelil Sugar. He missed the match against Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday.
