The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) secretariat has confirmed minor changes to the Round Ten league clash pitting Nairobi City Stars against former champions Sofapaka rescheduling the match day and venue.
The match was initially scheduled to be played on Sunday 24 April at the Ruaraka Stadium but will now be staged at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 23 April.
As per a communique from the KPL management to media houses, the two teams made the request to have the venue moved and agreed on the Nyayo National Stadium.
With the stadium scheduled to host a double header on Saturday, the match has been rescheduled to a day earlier, to the agreement of the two clubs while the kickoff time stays the same, at 3pm.
“The date and venue for the Nairobi City Stars-Sofapaka SportPesa Premier League match has been changed following an agreement between the two clubs to move the match at Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday, 23 April 2016.
“The match had previously been scheduled to be played on Sunday 24 April 2016 at the Ruaraka Grounds.
“Kick-off time remains as earlier scheduled, 3PM,” the statement from the KPL read.
