New AFC Leopards chairman Dan Mule has set the formation of a secretariat and review of the club constitution as the two key agenda for the short term as he settles in the job following his election on Sunday 24 July.
Mule, who served in the club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) that was formed to quell wrangles at the club in December 2015 says the club needs the secretariat and a good constitution to address disputes.
He has assured that there will be a report on the progress of the two key issues within the next few weeks and while at it, he also stated that the place of the team is held highly as the management wants to ensure it is given the right conditions to perform well.
“We are just settling in and all of us the elected officials are set to have a meeting to appraise ourselves with the issues concerning the club but of key importance is that we need to have a functional secretariat and a review of the constitution.
“These two will be vital in trying to address the problems that have let the club own in the past years. Within the next two weeks progress will be seen,” he said.
