Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants AFC Leopards have secured moves for three more players as the preparations for the second half of the season hit the top.
The club’s chairman Dan Mule confirms the club has signed goalkeeper Ian Otieno from Posta Rangers as well as Bandari duo of Bernard Mangoli and Edwin Wafula, who will be with the team for a second stint after six months with Bandari FC.
Getting the players has not been easy sailing for Leopards with the selling clubs accusing Leopards of illegally approaching their players but Mule confirms all has been agreed upon and the moves cleared and he says the three will aid the team do better in the second leg.
“We have sealed deals for the three players and they were among the players who trained with the team today. We agreed over their acquisition with their clubs and now we can concentrate on preparations for the second leg with the hope of doing better than we did in the first half of the season.
“We will bring in a few more players before the transfer window wraps,” he said.
The three join Malian Ismail Diarra who was signed earlier in the week.
