Tusker FC head coach Francis Kimanzi will lead the side against Muhoroni Youth as the team shifts focus to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) following two weeks of cup competitions.
Muhoroni Youth will be defending an 11 match unbeaten streak in the league and Kimanzi knows he is facing a tough side in the Friday 2 October clash at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Ahead of the cup games, Tusker had gone winless in six matches. He is however hoping his team can reap from the new found confidence that came with scoring nine goals in the two cup games, the latest being a 4 – 2 win over AFC Leopards.
“It has been a long time since we last won a league match but now we are resuming in better shape having bagged two wins in the cup competitions and scored a good number of goals as well.
“Scoring boosts confidence and it is my hope that the players will continue in the same breath when we get to the Muhoroni Youth game,” he said.
