Kenyan international Kevin Kimani has joined South African top flight side Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Jomo Cosmos on a one year deal.
Kimani was scouted while turning out for the Kenya national team Harambee Stars at the CECAFA Senior Challenge in 2015 and while confirming the move, he said he is happy and will be looking to give his all for the team.
He still has some clearances to wait for and when it is done, keeping his place in the national team will rank top on the midfielder’s plans.
“I am happy with the move because the PSL is one of the serious leagues in Africa and for me this is a positive step. I still have some paperwork to clear before I can start playing competitively.
“I thank God for this chance and I want to make it count especially as far as my chances with the national team are involved. I want to be able to help the team better its chances while at the same time building my profile,” he said.
