Orlando Pirates for Steven Pienaar
Pienaar is believed to welcome a move to one of the PSL’s famous clubs, having recently expressed his admiration for the Soweto Derby.
”The idea of playing in [the Soweto Derby] game, you know, really appeals to me,” he told TMG Digital .
”It is, after all, the biggest game in South Africa. I have spoken to a lot of [Chiefs and Pirates] players and they go on about this game.
“And with me being an Orlando Pirates fan, it is obviously a game that interests me.
”My friends always tell me when they’ve played in the game that, wow … just the atmosphere in the stadium alone is something else. Everyone wants to be part of something like that.”
