Eugene Mukangula has been the undoubted star in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in the past few weeks, aiding his team rise further and further from the relegation zone and he is not looking to stop with the rich vein of form.
The striker has scored in each of the last three matches the team has played and is currently top of the scorers’ charts in his team with six goals.
He thanks his coaches and team mates for the fortunate turn and says he is looking to work harder for the team to keep the bar high but he is not setting particular targets, only looking to score as many goals as he can to lift the team higher.
“I am happy with the form I am in but it is not entirely my making; the coaches and my team mates have really helped me grow, especially I terms of confidence and I am glad that I can be able to pay back for it with goals.
“I have set the bar and I cannot go back; I want to work harder and harder to ensure I stay fit and continue scoring. I do not have a particular target but I want to score as many goals as I can and to help the team,” he said.
