The Swedish national team head coach Erik Hamren has named his 23 – man team that he will be taking to the European Championships scheduled to get underway on 10th June in France.
In his squad, the coach has picked two players with Kenyan roots; Norwich defender Martin Olsson, born of a Kenyan mother and Celta Vigo striker John Guidetti, who was born in Kenya to Swedish parents and featured in his formative stages for Ligi Ndogo SC in Nairobi.
The star man in the team is obviously striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will be playing his last major tournament.
There are also places in the team for former Arsenal man Sebastian Larsson who turns out for Sunderland and Real Madrid target Victor Lindelof.

Midfielders: Jimmy Durmaz (Olympiakos), Albin Ekdal (Hamburg), Oscar Hiljemark (Palermo), Sebastian Larsson (Sunderland), Pontus Wernbloom (CSKA Moscow), Erkan Zengin (Trabzonspor), Oscar Lewicki (Malmo), Emil Forsberg (Leipzig), Kim Kallstrom (Grasshoppers).
