Kenyan referee Davies Omweno will be in action on Wednesday 27 January at the African Nations Championships (CHAN) in the Group D clash pitting Zambia against Mali.
Omweno, who has already served as a match official in two matches at the tournament has been appointed the fourth official in the game.
He previously officiated in the Gabon versus Morocco game in Group A on the opening day of the tournament and Zimbabwe versus Mali game in Group D.
The other officials in the match will be Ibrahim Nour Eldin (Egypt) as the center referee; Ahmed Hossam (Egypt) as the first assistant referee and Steve Khumalo (South Africa) as the second assistant referee.
Celestine Ntangungira from Rwanda will be the referees’ assessor.
Meanwhile, another Kenyan referee, Aden Marwa was in charge as the first assistant referee in the Niger versus Tunisia game on Tuesday 26 January.
Kenya has three referees at the tournament. The third, Gilbert Cheruiyot has had just one appointment.
