The Kenya national team head coach Stanley Okumbi has released his starting 11 for the game against Uganda Cranes on Tuesday 30 August, a friendly match in preparation for the 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Zambia.
David Ochieng who marks his return to the team for the first time this year will partner Zesco United defender David Owino in central defence.
Michael Olunga is named on the bench despite his good form at club and on the bench he will be joined by Spain based Ismail Gonzalez and newly called up Joshua Kemboi who plays in England.
Jesse Were will lead the attack while Gor Mahia duo of Musa Mohamed and Eric Ouma will serve on the right and left defensive flanks respectively with skipper Victor Wanyama and Teddy Akumu operating in central midfield.
